Where but the UK?

If you live in the UK you will no doubt be familiar with the expressions, "only in the UK?" or "where but the UK?" So much seems to be peculiar to the UK and we Brits. This includes the good, the bad, the ugly and the downright ridiculous.

We British though are rightly proud of our heritage so let's revel in our often eccentric, quirky and strange behaviour. After all it is that which make us so very British.

Got a peculiar British Story which you would like to share? Contact the team and if it meets with our editors approval we will publish it on the site.

This website was created in early May 2012. It centres on all things British but at time of writing has one blogger, Peter B Meyer, who lives and writes in Spain. Peter specialises in European matters and has followed the EU crisis from its very early days
